About Mikrohistorie

Mikrohistorie is a Norwegian dialect learning app developed by Dark Space Studio AS. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Account

You must create an account to use Mikrohistorie. You are responsible for keeping your login access secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Contact us immediately at support@darkspace.studio if you suspect unauthorized access.

Subscription

Mikrohistorie offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly and yearly) that unlock premium content and exercises. Free users can browse stories and hear a short preview of the audio.

• Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies. We do not process refunds directly.

Free trial

We may offer a free trial period for new subscribers. If offered, the trial will be clearly stated before purchase. Your subscription begins and billing starts at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand. Free trials are available to new subscribers only; eligibility is determined by Apple or Google.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Mikrohistorie on your devices for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app or its content. You may not reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code.

Content

All stories, audio recordings, exercises, and other content in Mikrohistorie are owned by Dark Space Studio AS or licensed for our use. Content is provided for personal language learning only.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mikrohistorie to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Scrape, harvest, or copy content from the app by automated means.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service.

Disclaimer

Mikrohistorie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific learning needs. Language learning outcomes vary by individual.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dark Space Studio AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Mikrohistorie. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to the service and terms

We may update these terms or modify the service at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.
